Moonshine Soap Company is proud to support small business and the sustainablity of microenterprise in our own community, as well as our region, state and nation. Our efforts also reach globally as we support microenterprise in Ghana, Africa by purchasing fair trade shea butter from the village of Zaare.

We align ourselves with like minded individuals and businesses that support small business and each other. We utilize services and classes offered by Appalachain Community Enterprises in Cleveland, Georgia, and we are proud to promote the services this non profit company offers to help great people realize their dreams. We consider the company and their clients our friends.

MSNBC featured Appalachian Community Enterprises on March 18.  Hosted by JJ Ramberg, "Your Business" focuses on the world of America's small business entrepreneurs, featuring profiles, news, advice and tips.

See how Terri Barko and Lisa Davies, two single mothers living on public assistance in suburban Atlanta, were able to qualify for a micro-loan from Appalachian Community Enterprises and launch a successful maid service. Now working independently, these women are part of a growing sector of entrepreneurs who have used micro-loans to grow their businesses.
